So we went to the blues clues party for our friends little girl “S” who just turned three. it was a blues clues themed party, complete with blue punch and blue paw prints painted on faces and blue paw print clues on the floor. Life size pictures of tickety tock, blue, magenta, sidetable drawer and everyone. They played “Pin the flag on mailbox” and “musical paw prints”. All in all it was a blast. There were a lot of GF friendly foods too including awesome fruit salad, corn chips, raw veggies and more to supplement the gf chicken lasagna florentine I brought and the gf chocolate cake. All seemed well…until BB started to lose it 20 min into the festivities. he spent about 1/4 or more of the party in a quiet dark room for time out with one or both of us parents. Im so glad for our dear friends who hung out with the other two while he had talk after talk and quiet holding time with BB. After about 30 min or less he joined the rest of his friends in “Pin the Flag On Mailbox” and had a ton of fun. Each kid won a prize, candy filled little “dog bowls” for the boys and a flower shaped candy neclace kit for the girls, “S”s mom “A” really did a fabulous job and went all out. Thank you to “A”, her hubby, birthday girl “S” and baby “Z” for such an awesome time. Happy Birthday Miss S, may God continue to richly bless you this the beginning of your 4th year of your little life. You are well loved and I can’t wait to see you grow and change. I’m glad to be in your life and that you are part of our church family! Three years down and a ton more to go!
